PipeRider

For almost a decade InvoDane has been collaborating with The Pressure Pipe Inspection Company and Queen’s University in designing and building RFEC/TC systems for inspecting large diameter pre-stressed concrete cylindrical water pipes.

One of InvoDane’s important contributions to this undertaking has been the development of two generations of recumbent bicycles that carry an on-board Eddy Current inspection system. This specialized bicycle, called PipeRider, is capable of inspecting pipes as small as 36-inch diameter, fast and inexpensively. Another deceptively simple solution.
